I follow archaeology as an interest and was very interested to read this. Politically this is problematic because it rests on land of a group of people that do not hold that Israel is the rightful / original owners of the land.
A carved pillar discovered near Bethlehem may be linked to the Biblical King of Kings, David himself, or perhaps validate the scope of wise Solomon’s majestic kingdom.
