I know the world is getting ready for Easter and what a day of celebration that will be. Today however I find myself reflecting upon the agony Jesus was about to endure. Knowing He will be going on trial soon and taking punishment meant for us. I have literally stood in each of the places that we see as significant in His last days or even day and so today I am melancholy because the reality is, this was a horrific night for our Lord Jesus. So when it comes time to celebrate, let’s do it hardily but let’s not forget the agony that Christ went through to get to that point and be mindful of it.
